About Sandra

Sandra is a respected  leader and thought partner with over 25 years experience in the life sciences, drug development and clinical trial industry with a proven ability to deliver high impact results across organizations. She has held a number of senior and executive level roles in varying capacities within Hospital & Academic Research Institutions , Clinical Research Organizations,. and the pharmaceutical industry.  The majority of Sandra’s career has been with Hoffmann-La Roche, where she spent `11 years.  During this time she was  instrumental in building and leading their global operations hub in Mississauga and subsequently relocated to the Roche Headquarter site in Switzerland where she was appointed as Head of Europe and China for their Oncology Global Operations Study Management Organization. Sandra subsequently held an asset leadership role within Oncology and led the operational program strategy for one of Roche’s top tier investment oncology molecules. Prior to becoming a consultant, Sandra served as VP and Global Head of the Patient Engagement organization at Syneos Health, accountable for delivering best in class patient recruitment and retention strategies and solutions for clients.

She currently serves as Part Time Faculty and Professor for the Clinical Research Program/ School of Health and Life Sciences at Conestoga College.

Sandra is a champion for human centered (TEAL) and  agile and new ways of working. She  is driven by a personal passion and vision to one day see every human have the ability to fearlessly and seamlessly understand, navigate,  access and positively experience our health care ecosystem.
